What applies, what is weakest, and what to do next

Answer twelve questions about the citation, the programme and the nine attributes. The check returns the transition exposure, the weakest attribute and three actions. It runs in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. It is a reading of your answers, not a compliance result.

The claim decides the consequence of a gap. Guidance use and a binding citation are different positions.
The 2017 edition is in force today. The second edition is a draft and will replace it.
The note records the citations found, the edition each names and the review date.
Attribute 5.2. A statement that no decision uses is not yet a shared vision.
Attribute 5.3. A register without owners or consequences is monitoring, not understanding.
Attribute 5.4. A role without authority or a deputy is a single point of failure.
Attribute 5.5. Values on a wall are not evidence of behaviour.
Attribute 5.6. Accessible is not the same as usable under pressure.
Attribute 5.7. An inventory without a decision is not a resource plan.
Attribute 5.8 and Annex A. Individually competent disciplines can be collectively incoherent.
Attribute 5.9. Reporting without a decision is not improvement.
Attribute 5.10. Reaction is a capability, but it leaves fewer options.
Baseline, monitoring and periodic review are three different things.
The site uses 15 February 2027 as an estimate. Put your own date here; the plan is yours.

Blank answers return "position incomplete" and name what is missing. The check never assumes the lighter pathway.

The answer today

ISO 22316:2017 is the edition in force

The second edition is registered for formal approval, not published. The path below follows the 2017 edition; the FDIS may change it, and the check never calls an organization conformant.

How the dates are used

The ISO record shows stage 50.00 on 6 July 2026. No publication date is recorded. The planning date of 15 February 2027 is an estimate for this site, not an ISO commitment. Your own date replaces it in the result and the plan.

THE RULE

What each question applies

The clause
InputHow it is usedSource
ClaimA contract, policy or tender makes the record an obligation. Guidance use changes the consequence, not the good practice.Clause 1; clause 4.2
EditionThe 2017 edition is in force; the second edition is a draft. A citation that names the wrong edition is a transition risk.ISO records 50053 and 86493

ContextA context register without owners or decisions does not show understanding.Clause 5.3

CultureBehaviour, not a values statement, is the evidence.Clause 5.5
InformationKnowledge that only its holder can use is a single point of failure.Clause 5.6
ResourcesAn inventory without a single-point and service-level decision is incomplete.Clause 5.7
DisciplinesIndividually competent disciplines can be collectively incoherent without a handoff view.Clauses 5.8, Annex A
ImprovementA measure that has not changed a decision is decoration.Clause 5.9
ChangeReaction is a capability; anticipation gives more options.Clause 5.10
EvaluationBaseline, monitoring and review are all required; one without the others is a gap.Clauses 6.1 to 6.4

A blank answer returns "position incomplete" and names the missing item. The check never guesses a lighter pathway.

THE RULES THIS IS BUILT FROM

Read from the real rules, not invented

Every clause answer on this site points to the official clause behind it, so you can check any line yourself. The register holds 41 records, 174 evidence lines and 123 common failure lines. The revision dates come from the ISO record, one national member body record and one reseller record. The clause substance comes from ISO 22316:2017, the published edition in force.

Annex A is informative and names twenty management disciplines. Each page says so, because a finding cannot rest on guidance alone.

ONE STAGE RECORD

No invented date

Stage 50.00 is recorded on 6 July 2026. The planning date is an estimate and is labelled wherever it appears.

Read the record

The FDIS text is not public and is not reproduced. The clause record covers the 2017 edition. No clause-level change in the FDIS is claimed. Where the public record is silent, the page says so.

The check is a reading of your answers, not an audit and not a compliance result. It does not decide whether the organization is resilient, lawful or safe. It does not certify anything and it is not legal advice.
