The ISO path has named stages. The feed records one date: 6 July 2026, when the FDIS was registered for formal approval. The ISO page also shows the 2017 edition at stage 90.92, to be revised. The rest of the timeline is the normal path, with the estimates labelled. Use it to plan, not to promise.
| Point | What happens | Date | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50.00 | The final text is received or the FDIS is registered for formal approval | 2026-07-06 | Recorded |
| 50.20 | The FDIS ballot is initiated | Not recorded | Next stage |
| 50.60 | The FDIS ballot closes and the text is approved | Not recorded | Not recorded |
| 60.00 | The standard is under publication | Not recorded | Not recorded |
| 60.60 | The second edition is published and replaces the 2017 edition | 15 February 2027 | Estimate, not an ISO commitment |
The estimate is 120 days from 18 October 2026, derived from the recorded stage and the normal interval for the ballot, approval and publication steps. It is a planning date, not a forecast the organization should put in a contract. The ISO record does not state a publication date and this site does not invent one. The estimate is repeated on every page with the same label.

When an FDIS or published text is available, compare the clause list with this register and record the differences.
When the second edition is published, update the edition in the claim, the contract and the evidence index. The watch emails the change.
Every clause answer on this site points to the official clause behind it, so you can check any line yourself. The register holds 41 records, 174 evidence lines and 123 common failure lines. The revision dates come from the ISO record, one national member body record and one reseller record. The clause substance comes from ISO 22316:2017, the published edition in force.
